Ex-Titans CB’s Aaron Hernandez story still rings eerie - “He replied ‘I’ll kill you’”

Aaron Hernandez's story will always be a fascinating one as nobody expected him to be the person he turned out to be.

He was a pretty good player and his talent on the field was renowned, though his shocking off-field controversies left the world of sport in shock.

In 2015, former Tennessee Titans cornerback Ryan Mouton shared a picture of himself and Hernandez on his Instagram account and shared a very strange moment between the two.

In the caption of the image, Mouton wrote this:

"#TBT that time I popped a killer helmet off and told him he can see me whenever, he replied I'll kill u and little did I know."

When Hernandez said this to Mouton, the Tennessee Titans CB would not have given much mind to what the Patriots tight end said to him, but after learning about Hernandez's actions, Mouton would have realized that he was in grave danger.

Aaron Hernandez was a fantastic player who had been a star at every stage of his career. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2010 after playing for the Florida Gators during his collegiate career.

Hernandez developed a fantastic tandem with Rob Gronkowski and was lauded for his outstanding performances on the field. However, his narrative off the field was not comparable since he was convicted of many crimes. In 2013, he murdered Odin Lloyd, who was the partner of his fiancé's sister.

After being apprehended by authorities, Hernandez was convicted of yet another murder in Boston, which shocked the entire globe. He committed suicide in his prison cell in 2017, hanging himself with the sheets from his bed. Later, a Netflix documentary was also aired, which shed light on his life.

It was later revealed that the former Patriots player had a severe case of CTE, which could have contributed to his behavior. The Patriots organization has long been praised for its brilliance, and their owner, Robert Kraft, is regarded as one of the best in the NFL. Despite this, they failed to recognize Hernandez's personality off the field.
