Week 7 of the 2024 fantasy football season has arrived and managers must now begin working on their lineups. Deciding which tight ends to start each week is based on different factors, including their recent individual performances and weekly matchups. Here are some of the best ones to target and fade in this week's games.

Brock Bowers has been one of the best rookies during the 2024 fantasy football season so far. He currently ranks as the overall TE3 entering Week 7 and has already finished among the top 10 weekly tight ends four times. He will look to keep things rolling in a favorable matchup this week when the Las Vegas Raiders take on the Los Angeles Rams.

Evan Engram is another solid tight end to target for Week 7 lineups when the Jacksonville Jaguars face off against the New England Patriots in London. He returned from an injury last week that forced him to miss four games and he responded by finishing as the weekly TE7. He caught all 10 of his targets for 102 yards and has also finished as the overall TE6 in each of the past two seasons.

Here's a full list of tight ends to target this week:

Must Starts

  • Travis Kelce
  • George Kittle
  • Evan Engram

David Njoku broke out with the Cleveland Browns last season, finishing the year ranked among the top five overall fantasy football tight ends for the first time in his career. He missed three games with an injury this year, but since returning two games ago, he has posted TE37 and TE21 weekly finishes. Despite a matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals' struggling defense, he is better off faded.

Isaiah Likely is another tight end to avoid in Week 7 fantasy football lineups, despite currently ranking as the overall TE5. He has failed to exceed three receptions or 30 yards in each of his past five games, so his lack of volume makes him difficult to trust. He should be left on the bench when the Baltimore Ravens match up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Here's who joins them as Week 7 fades:

Must Sits

  • David Njoku
  • Isaiah Likely
  • Dalton Schultz
  • Tyler Conklin
  • Mike Gesicki

DFS Fades

  • Cade Otton
  • Tucker Kraft
  • Hunter Henry
