Gabe Davis and Terry McLaurin will both feature later tonight in the NFL's first Monday Night Football doubleheader of the season. The Jacksonville Jaguars have failed to impress so far this season while the Washington Commanders are taking the patient route with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Here's everything you need to know about McLaurin and Davis from a fantasy point of view.

Gabe Davis fantasy outlook for Week 3
Davis does not exactly have WR2 potential heading into Week 3. He had a decent outing in Week 2 with seven targets but he caught just three of them for 43 yards. Still, those seven targets were a marked improvement from Week 1 where he had just three.

Per RotoBaller, Davis has still logged the most snaps out of all Jaguars WRs at 21.3% of the team’s targets and 26.3% of the team’s air yards. We're not all that high on Davis this week. Yes, he'll face the Buffalo Bills in what will serve as a revenge game for him but the Jaguars offense hasn't looked clean enough for Davis to guarantee any points. McDermott also has a respectable reputation as a defensive schemer. All things considered, Davis' ceiling this week is a WR3/flex option. It's best to leave him on the bench for this one.

Terry McLaurin fantasy outlook for Week 3
If you really think about it, Terry McLaurin is the only serviceable WR on the Commanders roster in fantasy football. The thing is, that's not a high bar for a wide receiver to clear.
Through two weeks of football, McLaurin has just eight catches for a measly 39 yards. The idea was that he would be the alpha WR for Jayden Daniels but the rookie quarterback is still getting used to life in the NFL.
Offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury admitted that the team needs to do more to get McLaurin involved and Washington will go up against a Cincinnati defense that hasn't blitzed the quarterback all that much this season, which could afford Daniels more time to find McLaurin all night.

There were bound to be growing pains with Jayden Daniels, the Commanders knew that would be the case entering the season. None of the rookie quarterbacks have taken to life in the NFL immediately this season but if the choice is between McLaurin and Davis, we're leaning towards the Commanders WR this week.
Sportskeeda's Who Should I Start tool projects a return of 9.3 points for McLaurin this evening and 6.6 for Davis.
