The Arizona Cardinals, who surprised the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5, will look to make it two wins in a row for the first time this season when they play the Green Bay Packers on the road in Week 6.
The Packers have won three of five games this campaign but only recorded their first win with Jordan Love starting at quarterback against the Los Angeles Rams last week.
Although the Packers have been a difficult team to predict this season, one thing is certain: Jordan Love hasn't appeared to be as productive as he was at the end of the last year.
Green Bay Packers injury report
The Green Bay Packers have named wide receiver Christian Watson (ankle) and cornerback Jaire Alexander (groin) as two of five players who are questionable to play at home against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6.
The other players designated as questionable are defensive lineman Arron Mosby (shoulder), guard Jordan Morgan (shoulder) and offensive tackle Rasheed Walker (knee).
Meanwhile, both defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt (ankle) and tight end Luke Musgrave (ankle) won't play on Sunday. Wyatt is recovering from an ankle injury, according to coach Matt LaFleur, who stated during the week that he's already off of walking boots. Despite being ruled out for Week 6, his recuperation is progressing as planned.
Jaire Alexander's injury update
Jaire Alexander has missed the last two Green Bay Packers games due to groin problems. However, he's likely to return for the Week 6 game after returning to practice this week but in a limited capacity.
Alexander has been listed as questionable for Week 6. His playing status will be confirmed by the Packers 90 minutes before Sunday's kickoff when they declare their inactives.
Two-time All-Pro CB Jaire Alexander has picked up two interceptions this season, while also scoring the first pick-six of his career.
Christian Watson's injury update
Like Jaire Alexander, wide receiver Christian Watson was also limited in the Green Bay Packers' three practices this week and has been given the questionable designation for Week 6.
Week 4 saw Watson sustain an ankle injury, which prevented him from playing in Week 5. According to sources close to the player, Watson is recuperating from a medial ankle sprain, despite numerous reports indicating that his injury is a high-ankle sprain.
It's anticipated that Watson's availability this week will affect the amount of snaps wide receiver duo Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks will have to shoulder against the Cardinals.
Luke Musgrave's injury update
The Green Bay Packers made the decision to place tight end Luke Musgrave on the injured reserve list on Friday due to a serious ankle injury that will rule him out for at least four games.
Musgrave didn't participate in the Packers' most recent game against the Los Angeles Rams but was active. Green Bay thought that it would be appropriate to place him on injured reserve after he logged a limited practice participation on Wednesday to start the week.
Tight end John FitzPatrick, who the Packers signed off the Atlanta Falcons practice squad during the week, has taken Musgrave's spot on the active roster.
