How many teams will play a regular season game in London for 2023 NFL season?

It's been just four weeks since the curtains closed on the 2022 NFL season. However, plans have already been put in place for the 2023 campaign.

For next season, the NFL has only announced the three designated home teams for its London games; the Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars.

However, their opponents for the regular season games are yet to be announced. Even the dates for those matches in the NFL London series are still unknown.

The games in London will be split across two stadiums. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host two NFL games next season, with the Bills and Titans being named the designated home teams for their respective matchups.

Meanwhile, Wembley Stadium will also play a regular season game in the English capital for the 10th successive year. The Jaguars will play one of their regular-season home games in London.

The NFL’s International Series first began with games in London in 2007. Since then, it has expanded its reach and played games in Mexico and Germany as well. In the 2023 NFL season, there will be two games held in Germany. However, there won't be any games in Mexico.

When does the 2023 NFL season begin?

Although the NFL hasn't released the schedule for the 2023 NFL season, we know that the first preseason contest of the campaign will be the Hall of Fame Game on Friday, August 4.

The regular season is scheduled to commence on Thursday, September 7. The reigning Super Bowl winners, this time the Kansas City Chiefs, are traditionally expected to play in the first game of the season, however, their opponents are yet to be finalized.

The 2023-2024 season spans five months, finishing on February 11, 2024, with Super Bowl 58. The big game for next year will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
