There are several variables that affect ticket prices, but the two most important ones are the teams competing and the stadium hosting the game.

Due to their large following, the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills' divisional round eliminations caused a modest decline in Super Bowl LVII ticket prices. The tickets, however, are still expensive as the two strongest teams this season will feature in the 2023 final.

The Philadelphia Eagles (14-3) and the Kansas City Chiefs (14-3) entered the playoffs as the No.1 seed in their respective conferences. Both teams were favorites to win the Lombardi Trophy and will face each other on February 12th.

Another aspect is that the capacity of State Farm Stadium is 63,400 which is the second-smallest NFL stadium after Soldier Field. For the season finale, the stadium has been expanded to hold more than 70,000 people.
