Kenny Moore II's injury update
According to the Big News Network, Kenny Moore II is ruled out of Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Moore II suffered a hip injury against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 22, 2024. The cornerback hasn't played since then and was absent from practice this week.
Moore II is listed as out on the Colts' official injury report and will watch his teammates from the sidelines.
Kwity Paye's injury update
According to CBS Sports, Kwity Paye has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars. The defensive end is dealing with a quadriceps issue.
Paye could not practice both from Wednesday to Friday after missing Indianapolis' Week 4 win over the Steelers due to a quadriceps injury, so it's unsurprising that he won't feature in Sunday's contest. Laiatu Latu will likely step up in Paye's absence.
Jonathan Taylor's injury update
According to CBS Sports, Jonathan Taylor is ruled out of Week 5 action. The star running back did not participate in training in the lead-up to the matchup.
Hence, Taylor will miss at least one game due to the right ankle sprain he suffered during the Colts' win over the Steelers in Week 4. Tyler Goodson and Trey Sermon are finely poised to lead the Colts backfield until Taylor is back to the gridiron.
Anthony Richardson's injury update
According to CBS Sports, Colts star quarterback Anthony Richardson has been downgraded from questionable to doubtful for the franchise's Week 5 game against the Jaguars. Richardson was a limited participant throughout the week of practice with what the Colts listed as an oblique injury.
Hence, it's likely that Joe Flacco will start against the Jaguars. Richardson exited the Colts' Week 4 win over the Steelers twice in a span of four plays. He did not return to action after exiting the second time due to a head hit.
