The Indianapolis Colts have a tough task in Week 10 of the 2024 NFL season as they are up against the Buffalo Bills. The Colts go into the game with a 4-5 record and will be looking to record a statement win over an AFC powerhouse.
Let's take a look at the Indianapolis Colts' injury report ahead of the Week 10 showdown.
Indianapolis Colts injury report
Michael Pittman Jr.'s injury update
According to CBS Sports, Michael Pittman Jr. will not play in Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. The wide receiver is dealing with back and finger issues and has not been able to practice all week.
Pittman's absence will open the window for Josh Downs and Alec Pierce to get the bulk of targets on Sunday night. Adonai Mitchell and Ashton Dulin should also get some attention from Joe Flacco in the crunch matchup.
DeForest Buckner's injury update
According to the Indianapolis Colts' website, DeForest Buckner did not participate in Friday's practice session. The veteran defensive tackle was rested ahead of the team's Week 10 matchup.
Buckner missed five consecutive games earlier this season due to a high ankle sprain. Thus, the Colts are taking it easy with the Pro Bowler. His unavailability on Friday was likely a precautionary measure rather than a reactionary one.
Bernhard Raimann's injury update
Bernhard Raimann participated in every practice session this week. The tackle recently cleared the concussion protocol and can now play a contact-heavy game.
Raimann suffered a concussion in Week 8 and was forced to sit out the Colts' Week 9 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. However, his participation in this week's training puts him in contention to start on Sunday.
Dayo Odeyingbo's injury update
According to the team website, Dayo Odeyingbo participated fully in every practice session this week. The defensive end is dealing with an elbow injury but looks to have shaken it off in time for the game against the Bills.
Odeyingbo should suit up for the matchup, and he'll be tasked with slowing down a rampant Bills attack in Week 10.
