Speaking to ESPN's Lisa Salters, Brown said that he is expecting to miss "couple of weeks" due to his hamstring injury.
Brown was previously listed as questionable to face the Falcons after being a limited participant in training on Friday. However, the three-time Pro Bowler expected some tightness in his hamstring that day and then did not participate in practice on Saturday.
On Sunday afternoon, Brown's status was downgraded to out.
Brown led Philly in receiving yards during the Eagles' 34-29 Week 1 win over the Green Bay Packers. He racked up 119 yards and a touchdown on five receptions, totaling 22.9 fantasy points. However, Brown won't get a chance to build on his fantasy points in Week 2.
In Brown's absence, Jahan Dotson is likely to get a crack at Atlanta's defense.
