Aaron Rodgers has been living a nightmare season with the New York Jets. In a year with so much promise, especially as the veteran quarterback returned from a year-long absence due to a torn Achilles, the Jets' season has been nothing short of awful, with many firings and a 3-9 record.
The idea of shutting the quarterback down for the season was floated around, but he has made it clear that, as long as he's healthy enough, he wants to play. So let's see his injury status for Week 14:
Is Aaron Rodgers playing today?

Yes. Although the season has been awful for the Jets, the veteran quarterback remains their leader. He has no injury designations.

Rodgers has featured in the injury report a few times this season, and many analysts pointed out during the first half of the season that he seemed to lose mobility as a result of his Achilles injury. However, he has started every game for New York in 2024, even with a poor record.
The Jets' injury report, however, has many important names for the team. Linebacker C.J. Mosley is already confirmed as out, while cornerback Sauce Gardner and running back Breece Hall are both listed as doubtful.
The list of names listed as questionable, however, is massive and includes Olu Fashanu, Morgan Moses, Xavier Newman, Qwan'tez Stiggers and Alijah Vera-Tucker. As a silver lining, the Jets activated Allen Lazard from the injured reserve and he'll play in Week 14.
How has Aaron Rodgers performed this season?
To put it mildly, he's falling well short of the expectations. The veteran quarterback, a four-time MVP, even had his team owner floating the idea of benching him after a poor performance in Week 5.
Rodgers is missing easy throws and routinely holding the ball too long. The numbers paint a regular season for the standard for regular quarterbacks, with 19 touchdowns, 8 interceptions and 62.5% of completed passes. However, his standard has always been higher than the average.
The disappointment has been so huge for the franchise that many analysts expect him to depart the team after the 2024 season.
