The Los Angeles Rams have been dealt some pretty rotten injury luck to start the year. First Puka Nacua went down with an injury, ultimately forcing the franchise to place him on Injured Reserve. Then Cooper Kupp suffered an ankle injury in Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals, prompting further concern about the health of this Rams offense.
While the Rams stopped short of placing Kupp on Injured Reserve, we haven't seen him on the field since the game against Arizona. Head coach Sean McVay was quick to rule Kupp out of Week 5's game against the Green Bay Packers. This means he will now miss his third straight game on Sunday.
Where Rams stand with Cooper Kupp's injury
In Kupp's absence, Demarcus Robinson, Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington have stepped up but the Rams' offense has been poor. The good news is they have a bye week coming up after Sunday's game against the Packers.
This should afford Kupp more time to recover from his ankle injury and potentially make it back in time for Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Green Bay Packers vs Los Angeles Rams injury report
Both the Packers and the Rams have a long list of injuries to deal with in Week 5. Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp will play no part while DE Larrell Murchison is also out with a foot injury.
Over on the Packers' side of things, wide receiver duo Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson are both doubtful for Sunday. Cornerback Jaire Alexander is also questionable, having missed the Week 4 game against the Minnesota Vikings with a groin injury. Tight end Luke Musgrave is also questionable with an ankle injury after missing three straight practices.
