Sutton also trained with the team during the week and stayed away from the injury report. He is expected to play a critical role for Denver in the matchup against New Orleans.
Sutton underwent ankle surgery during the offseason after picking up the injury in last season's Week 17 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. However, he has recovered well and has played in every game for the Broncos this season.
So far, Sutton has recorded 277 yards on 21 receptions and caught two touchdowns. He will be eager to improve on those numbers when he suits up to face the Saints in Week 7.
