Davante Adams is playing tonight against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The wide receiver came to the Las Vegas Raiders with high hopes but so far, his team has struggled. Derek Carr hasn't been able to get the best out of Adams, and the Raiders as a whole have underperformed massively.
They will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in a must-win game in Week 9 and fortunately for them, Adams will be fit to play. The Raiders are currently 2-5 and another loss could end their pursuit of the playoffs.

The pressure is now back on Derek Carr to take his team out of the mud against the Jaguars. The Trevor Lawrence-led team's record doesn't reflect the way they have played this season, and due to that, they could cause trouble for the Raiders.
Derek Carr hasn't been able to utilize Adams as well as many hoped before the season began. So far this season, Adams has 38 catches for 512 yards and has scored five touchdowns in seven games.
Adams was arguably the best receiver in football last season and his numbers have dropped massively this season with the Raiders. The duo of Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams was breathtaking to watch, but this season, both have looked awful, considering their standards.

The Raiders' offense needs to score points to put pressure on a young Trevor Lawrence or they'll lose another game. The Jaguars have played well this season but the turnovers committed by Lawrence have resulted in losses for them.
