Through two games, Jacoby Brissett and the New England Patriots have played decent, with the team upsetting the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1 and losing a close Week 2 overtime game to the Seattle Seahawks.

In his two games, Brissett has completed 30-of-58 passes for 270 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. He also rushed the ball nine times for 38 yards.

Yes, Jacoby Brissett will be playing tonight against the New York Jets. Brissett's name did not appear on the team's injury report on Wednesday, and the veteran is slated to start his third game of the season for the New England Patriots.

However, Brissett may face challenges with some of his teammates out and questionable for Thursday night's game. Offensive linemen Vederian Lowe and Sidy Sow have both been ruled out. OL Mike Onwenu and David Andrews are questionable.

The Patriots have also ruled out linebackers Ja'Whaun Bentley and Oshane Ximines.

Jacoby Brissett returned to the New England Patriots this offseason when he signed a one-year, $8 million deal on March 15. A month later, with their third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Patriots used their pick on rookie quarterback, Drake Maye.

The two battled throughout the offseason and in the preseason for the starting spot. Before the start of the regular season, Patriots coach Jerod Mayo named Brissett the starting quarterback.

Tonight's game between the AFC East opponents will be played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video. Fans can also stream the game via Fubo.

It will be a battle between a pair of 1-1 teams looking to climb the ladder in their division. The Jets lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the first Monday Night football action this season but bounced back with a 24-17 win against the Tennessee Titans in Week 2.
