Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Joey Bosa was outstanding last season, as he was selected in the Pro Bowl for the fourth time in his six-year-long career. The 2022 NFL season was heartbreaking for the star linebacker because he only appeared in three games.

Joey Bosa suffered a groin injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3. He was later placed on LA's injured reserve while undergoing surgery. Bosa had surgery on September 30 and has missed 11 games this season as a result.

The Chargers will face the Indianapolis Colts on a Monday Night and are looking forward to making it to the playoffs. However, Joey Bosa won't be featuring in the upcoming Week 16 game, as the team hasn't activated him from the injured reserve list.

It was speculated that Bosa would return to training, but the team has yet to confirm his status. He will return to play three weeks after starting training.

He will miss the remaining regular-season games. If the Chargers make the NFL Playoffs, we may see him participate in the postseason. With an 8-6 record, the Chargers are second in the AFC West.

According to FiveThirtyEight.com, the Chargers have 83% chance of clinching the NFL Playoff berth. They will face the Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Rams, and Denver Broncos in the last three games of the regular season.

The Chargers with two back-to-back wins moved to the sixth position in the AFC from ninth. There is a high possibility that the Chargers win their next three games. If that happens, it will be their first playoff berth since 2018 and they will want their best defensive weapon, Joey Bosa, to play for them.
