Sterling Shepard has been in the limelight for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ahead of their Week 9 clash against the Kansas City Chiefs. The wideout was nursing a hamstring injury during the week and fans have been curious to know whether he will play in the Monday Night Football contest.

As per Tom Pelissero, Sterling Shepard is expected to play against the Chiefs on Monday. The wideout is listed as questionable on the Buccaneers' injury report but will suit up for the Week 9 game.

Shepard did not practice with his Tampa Bay teammates on Thursday and Friday. However, he was a limited participant in Saturday's session.

Shepard picked the hamstring injury in Tampa Bay's Week 8 defeat against the Atlanta Falcons. He exited in the second quarter and did not return.

After being listed as questionable to play in Week 9, Shepard is likely to get the green light to play against the Chiefs. He is also expected to get more reps since Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are ruled out for the trip to Kansas City.

Shepard signed for the Buccaneers in the offseason. The receiver has 111 yards and caught a touchdown on 11 receptions. He has also added 31 yards on four carries in six games this season.
