Is Tyreek Hill playing today vs. Bills today?

New York Jets v Miami Dolphins
Wide receiver Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins warms up at Hard Rock Stadium

Tyreek Hill has transformed the makeup of the squad since joining the Miami Dolphins in a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. Coaches have been compelled to devise fresh and original strategies to thwart arguably the league's most slippery runner. With an ankle injury he picked up in the final game of the regular season, Hill's status for today has been in doubt.

Hill has a background of bothersome foot and ankle problems, but he has always persevered through each one, making it nearly guaranteed that he will start this crucial matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

The Miami Dolphins didn't make things simple for themselves, but after their 11-6 victory over the New York Jets last week, they were able to lock up the seventh spot in the AFC. For the first time this season, the Dolphins were unable to score one TD in a match, but at least their defense performed admirably that day.

Hill was second in the NFL with 119 receptions for 1,710 yards and seven scores this campaign, but this contest might be his toughest test yet.

Tyreek Hill has refused to claim the “underdog” tag

After two playoff victories with the Kansas City Chiefs over the Bills in 2021 and 2022, Tyreek Hill is now slated to meet the Buffalo Bills for the third consecutive year in postseason games.

Hill effectively destroyed the Bills' chances of defeating Kansas City in normal time during a dramatic AFC Divisional game from the previous season. He had 11 receptions for 150 yards and a score when the game was over. But in two games this season against the Bills, he has totaled 11 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown.

According to Hill, via Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post, on Friday,

"This one right here will mean a lot more to me because I've never been an underdog, I was fortunate to play on a really excellent football team in Kansas City. It's different here. I think the other guys and I also currently have a chip on our shoulders.

Tyreek Hill has pleaded with his teammates to play with all of their might in the Dolphins' third game of the season against the raging Bills.

Tyreek Hill has 84 catches for 1,081 yards and five touchdowns in 13 playoff games, including 23 catches for 285 yards and three touchdowns last season.

The Miami Dolphins finished the regular season with a 3-3 record against division rivals, and now they'll try to beat the Buffalo Bills.
