Tyreek Hill is said to be on course for his worst season since he was a rookie. Still, that does not preclude another thousand-yarder from him, and the latest development will only serve as a motivator toward that.
On Thursday, the Miami Dolphins wide receiver was cleared from the injury list and will play in the Thanksgiving game against the Green Bay Packers. He had been dealing with a wrist injury and a traffic citation case, which was dismissed after the arresting officer missed a court appearance. Despite these issues, he fully participated in Wednesday’s practice.
The team's X account also released a short video of Hill arriving at Lambeau Field.
One of his offensive teammates, tackle Terron Armstead, is still questionable with a knee injury. Linebackers Tyus Bowser (knee/calf) and Anthony Walker Jr. (hamstring) and cornerback Kendall Fuller (concussion) will skip the game. Tyrel Dodson and Storm Duck are expected to start in the latter two's place.
Tyreek Hill has message for fantasy footballers upset with his performances
As mentioned before, unless Tyreek Hill plays out of his mind in each of the next six games, he will have his worst receiving season since his pro debut. That has affected his fantasy football value, upsetting managers who had been expecting a major haul in 2024.
But if he is asked, it does not matter if he is not dominating games as long as he is winning them. Speaking last week before the 34-15 win at the New England Patriots, he said:
"It's like I can't even enjoy a night out with my wife and my kids. Somebody's always walking up to me and is like, 'I drafted you number one and you've been having the worst fantasy football season of your career.' And it's like, 'Bro, I do not literally care.'
"As long as we're winning. I feel like a lot of people get football mixed up with stats and worrying about where a guy's going, instead of worrying about the win-loss column."
He concluded:
"A lot of people have taken the game that I grew up loving so much and turned it into betting and turned it into fantasy numbers and stuff like that."
Hill, the WR9 in Sportskeeda's fantasy football rankings, has scored 128.8 fantasy points so far.
