Vea, who had four tackles and one sack in the team's 51-27 victory over the New Orleans Saints last time out, injured his hamstring during practice on Saturday and was labeled as DNP on the injury report. There were reports on that day, though, that the team only kept him out of practice as a precaution.

The only Buccaneers players ruled out on the injury report for the Week 7 matchup are wide receiver Kameron Johnson, tight end Payne Durham, wideout Rakim Jarrett and cornerback Jamel Dean. Star wide receiver Mike Evans and rookie center Graham Barton will also be available for the team after they were both taken off the final injury list.

Vita Vea has been the cornerstone of the Bucs' run defense for the past few years. He possesses uncommon quickness for his size and the ability to push back opponents.
