J.K. Dobbins got off to a scorching hot start to the 2024 fantasy football season by finishing each of his first two games with the Los Angeles Chargers ranked among the top-five weekly running backs. He has cooled off considerably since then, finishing as the RB36 and RB39 in his past two games.

Things won't get any easier for Dobbins in Week 6 against a stingy Denver Broncos defense. He has clearly demonstrated his upside with his new team, but he will be a risky play this week.

Is Javonte Williams a good fantasy pick in Week 6?

Javonte Williams has been inconsistent during the 2024 fantasy football season so far on his way to being ranked as the overall RB36 through his first five games. He has totaled 320 scrimmage yards on 70 total touches, but he has failed to score a touchdown this season.

The veteran appears to be trending up as his role with the Denver Broncos has recently expanded, including setting a season-high with 18 touches last week. This gives him upside in Week 6, but he will need to overcome a difficult matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers' defense.

Is Devin Singletary a good fantasy pick in Week 6?

Devin Singletary has been solid in his role as the New York Giants' starter, finishing among the top 20 fantasy football running backs in two of his four games this year. The potential issue with his fantasy outlook for the remainder of the season is the rise of Tyrone Tracy Jr.

The rookie got his first opportunity at an extended role last week and responded by exploding for 130 scrimmage yards on 19 total touches. It's unclear if Tracy has surpassed Singletary on the depth chart, but at the least, he likely earned himself a larger workload. This makes Singletary riskier than usual in Week 6 lineups, despite his strong matchup against the struggling Cincinnati Bengals defense.

J.K. Dobbins is the recommended running back to use in Week 6 fantasy football lineups over Devin Singletary and Javonte Williams. Sportskeeda's Who Should I Start tool predicts that he will edge out the other two options by a point or less this week.

The projections for these three options are extremely close, but Dobbins' proven upside is one of the biggest reasons for him being the preferred pick. He is also the most likely to score a touchdown, which makes up for him being expected to have the lowest yardage total this week.
