Ja'Marr Chase is one of those players of whom much is always expected. That is not surprising at all, given his monstrous performance over the course of of his three seasons and counting in the NFL.
As a rookie, he immediately proved a dominator, almost hitting 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns and helping the Cincinnati Bengals reach the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1980s. Even as the team's performances slipped over the next two seasons, he still continued to produce, hitting 1,000 yards in each of them and making the Pro Bowl.
In 2024, he has had games with at least 100 yards and multiple touchdowns, but nothing like what transpired on Thursday. Visiting the Baltimore Ravens, Chase was on another level with his route running and pass catching. But how dominant was he really?
