Jayden Reed has been in the spotlight for the Green Bay Packers ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the Houston Texans. The wideout has been dealing with an ankle injury, and fantasy managers want to know his status for Sunday's game.
Jayden Reed injury update: What happened to Packers WR?
Due to a nagging ankle injury, Jayden Reed was a limited participant in practice during the week. However, he has avoided an injury designation, which means that he should get the green light to play against the Texans on Sunday.
This is excellent news for fantasy managers who want to draft Reed for Week 7.
As per reports, Reed hurt his ankle on a punt return in Green Bay's 34-13 win over the Cardinals in Week 6 on Sunday. He briefly exited the game but returned soon and ended up coming close to his normal workload shares. The receiver finished with 53 percent snap share and 66 percent route share in comparison to his average season-long marks of 65 percent and 76 percent, respectively.
Reed, who has played in all six games for the Packers this season, has racked up 442 yards on 27 receptions and caught three touchdowns. He has also recorded 110 yards on nine carries and scored a touchdown on the ground.
Reed has tallied 106.2 fantasy points this season and is averaging 17.6 points per game.
