Breece Hall's injury status
According to CBS News, Breece Hall was initially listed in the Jets' injury report but was removed from it on Wednesday.
Hall was dealing with a quadriceps issue, but it looks like the team’s medical staff has sanctioned his availability for tonight's game. Expect him to get quality touches as Aaron Rodgers shakes off his rustiness from last season's unavailability.
Jermaine Johnson II's injury status
Jermaine Johnson II suffered a torn Achilles in Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans. The pass rusher suffered the injury in the third quarter of the game as he chased down Will Levis in the Jets' comeback victory.
Johnson will miss tonight's game and will likely be unavailable for the rest of the season.
C.J. Mosley's injury status
According to CBS News, Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley is questionable with a toe injury. The starting ILB is a key part of his side's defense in the middle, and Jets fans will hope that he's able to play against the Patriots.
New England utilizes a potent rush attack headlined by Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson. Mosley's absence would be catastrophic for the Jets' rush defense.
New England Patriots injury report
The New England Patriots website has a staggering 11 players listed on their injury report ahead of the Jets' game. Four players are listed as questionable: center David Andrews, offensive tackle Mike Onwenu, free safety Jabrill Peppers, guard Layden Robinson and defensive end Deatrich Wise.
Furthermore, four players have been ruled out of the game: MLB Ja'Whaun Bentley, offensive tackle Vederian Lowe, guard Sidy Sow and linebacker Oshane Ximines. We will focus on the ruled-out players here.
Ja'Whaun Bentley's injury status
According to CBS Sports, Ja'Whaun Bentley suffered a season-ending shoulder injury against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2. The standout linebacker tore his pec during New England's loss to Seattle.
With Bentley out for the year, Raekwon McMillan is slated to replace him in the starting lineup.
Vederian Lowe's injury status
According to CBS Sports, Vederian Lowe has officially been ruled out ahead of Thursday night's matchup with the Jets. Lowe is dealing with a knee issue and couldn't recover sufficiently to play in the mid-week game.
The key offensive tackle will likely be replaced by Patriots rookie Caedan Wallace.
Sidy Sow's injury status
According to CBS Sports, Sidy Sow has an ankle injury that has effectively ruled him out of the Thursday night matchup with the New York Jets.
Sow will miss his third consecutive game after sustaining an ankle injury during the preseason.
Oshane Ximines's injury status
According to CBS Sports, Oshane Ximines has been added to the injured reserve. The Patriots placed Ximines on the IR on Wednesday due to a knee injury.
Thus, the linebacker will miss at least four regular season games before he can rejoin the active playing roster.
