Week 3 of the 2024 fantasy football season kicks off with a matchup between the New York Jets and New England Patriots. The Jets' passing game has struggled so far this season, but they will have an opportunity to bounce back against the Patriots. Here's a look at which of their top three wide receivers makes for the best option in fantasy lineups this week.
Jets WRs' fantasy outlook
Garrett Wilson fantasy outlook for Week 3
Garrett Wilson has been the busiest wide receiver on the New York Jets so far with 17 targets through his first two games. It hasn't quite resulted in a ton of fantasy production, as he has recorded just 10 receptions for 117 yards.

The superstar wide receiver will look to get back on track against a Patriots defense that was torched by DK Metcalf last week. This makes Wilson a solid player to target in Week 3 lineups, despite his relatively slow start to the 2024 season.
Mike Williams fantasy outlook for Week 3
Mike Williams has been eased into action so far with the Jets after his season-ending injury with the LA Chargers last year. He played in just 18% of their snaps in Week 1 but took a massive step forward to 65% in his second game.
Despite his increased playing time, Williams recorded just one reception for 19 yards. He is expected to see his workload increase as the season goes on, but for now, he is difficult to trust in Week 3 lineups.
Allen Lazard fantasy outlook for Week 3
Allen Lazard was excellent in his first game with Jets, reuniting with his former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He finished as the overall WR3 in Week 1 with six receptions on nine targets for 89 yards and two touchdowns.
Week 2 was a much different story for Lazard, as he recorded just two receptions on four targets for 11 yards. The polarizing results make him a difficult wide receiver to trust in fantasy lineups, but he has also already demonstrated his weekly upside.
Garrett Wilson vs. Mike Williams vs. Allen Lazard: Who should you start?
It's easy to eliminate Williams from the debate of which of the three wide receivers makes for the best option in Week 3 lineups. Lazard has recorded the best weekly finish of the trio so far this year, but Wilson's consistency makes him the best choice.
Wilson has yet to have a breakout game with Rodgers this year, but it's likely to come at some point. The Patriots struggled to cover another talented wide receiver in Metcalf last week, giving Wilson a high ceiling in this matchup with the safest floor of any Jets wide receiver.
