After missing the last four games due to a knee injury, Dobbins was ready to go for this clash. The last time he took the field was against the Baltimore Ravens on Nov. 25 when he ran the ball six times, racking up 40 rushing yards and no touchdowns in a game the Chargers lost 30-23.

The Chargers were aggressive in the first half of the game, trying to drift away from the Patriots early on, but they focused more on letting Justin Herbert work instead of giving the keys to the running backs.

Dobbins had a discreet first half, carrying the ball nine times, but only getting 29 rushing yards out of it.
