Joey Bosa has been dealing with a groin injury for the majority of the season. However, the linebacker is expected to start in the team's wild-card game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Bosa is listed as active and fit to feature in the playoff game on Saturday. The four-time Pro Bowler practiced with the team towards the end of the week and will take his place in Brandon Staley's rearguard.

While Bosa has managed only five games this season due to a groin problem, the Chargers look like a much stronger outfit with him in their lineup. Bosa suffered his injury in Week 3 but returned in Week 17, in time for the business end of the season.

Joey Bosa racked up a total of 10 tackles and 2.5 sacks in five regular-season games for the Chargers. Despite his limited game time, the linebacker has made an impression on the Los Angeles outfit. He managed one tackle and one sack in the Chargers' Week 18 defeat to the Denver Broncos.

The 27-year-old can not only get to the opposing quarterback in a flash but can also disrupt an opposing team’s run game. Bosa will be crucial in breaking down the Jacksonville attack on Saturday.

Chargers vs Jaguars prediction

The Chargers finished second in the AFC West with 10 wins and seven losses. The Jaguars, meanwhile, won the AFC South with a 9-8 record. The game promises to be exciting, with fine margins potentially deciding the outcome.

Despite losing to the Broncos at the end of the regular season, the Chargers will be favorites to win this eliminator against the AFC South champions. We expect Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Rams to outperform Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars to advance to the next round.
