Josh Reynolds or Curtis Samuel: who is a good fantasy pick?

Who is the best pick between Josh Reynolds and Curtis Samuel in fantasy football? The NFL is in its eighth week, and many fantasy football managers are panicking. Many players have failed to live up to expectations or have suffered season-ending injuries in the previous seven weeks.

Josh Reynolds of the Detroit Lions and Curtis Samuel of the Washington Commanders are starting wide receivers for their respective teams and have not missed a single game this season. Both have generated reasonable fantasy points while playing for their side. Both players are healthy and will participate in their season's eighth game.

In Week 8, we recommend starting Curtis Samuel, but there isn't much between the two. Both players have very similar stats, but Reynolds is returning from a knee injury and is likely to have fewer targets.

Why you should start Curtis Samuel over Josh Reynolds in Week 8

Curtis Samuel has a better chance of scoring good fantasy points, as we saw significant developments in his last game against the Green Bay Packers. The 26-year-old had eight pass targets and five receptions for 53-yards.

The team also benefitted from his run game, where he had five carries for 26 yards. The Commanders will face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8. If he continues to score high passing targets and touches in the run game, he can achieve a good fantasy score.

Samuel had a solid performance in the first two weeks, recording 20 targets and five carries and scoring two receiving touchdowns.

On the other hand, Reynolds had just two targets and one reception for eight yards in his last game against the Cowboys. The other two Lions wide receivers also look healthy and will return to the playing field, due to which Reynolds will have fewer target opportunities.
