The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in the Super Bowl last month. However, Andy Reid's side will be eager to retain their title next season in a bid to build on their dynasty.

It won't be long before the Chiefs begin preparations for the 2023 season. Kansas City will begin Phase I of the offseason workout program on April 17, which will be limited to meetings, along with strength and conditioning rehabilitation for two weeks.

Phase II will then take place over a three-week span. During this time, the Chiefs will be allowed to have on-field workouts for individuals or group instruction and drills.

Kansas City will enter phase III of the offseason workout program in late May. The 10 days of OTAs are scheduled for May 22-24, May 30-June 1 and June 6-9. Their offseason workout program will conclude with a mandatory three-day minicamp, scheduled for June 13-15.

The Chiefs will be able to conduct team-related drills without pads, but no live contact is allowed. However, player participation remains voluntary during OTAs.

The Kansas City Chiefs had a stellar run last season. They clinched their divisional title with a 14-3 regular season record. They also finished as the No.1 seed in the AFC.

After receiving a first-round bye in the playoffs, the Chiefs then took down the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-20 in the divisional round. They beat rivals Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 in the AFC Championship game to book a spot in the Super Bowl.

In the big game, Patrick Mahomes and Co. got the better of the Philadelphia Eagles in dramatic fashion. Harrison Butker's field goal helped the Chiefs get over the line in the dying seconds of the game, which ended 38-35.

It was Kansas City's second Super Bowl win in the last three years. Their focus will now shift towards defending their championship for the 2023 season.
