NFL's Week 12 wraps up on Monday Night and fantasy managers may have to decide between Ladd McConkey and Zay Flowers. Who should you start in Week 12?
Is Ladd McConkey a good fantasy option?
Los Angeles Chargers receiver Ladd McConkey is a good fantasy option in Week 12. McConkey has been a go-to receiver for Justin Herbert. In the Chargers' last game, he had nine targets and six receptions for 123 yards. Although he didn't find the endzone, he put up great fantasy numbers.
McConkey is good for 6+ targets a game and should be 60+ receiving yards, as he is a good slot option for the Chargers.
Is Zay Flowers a good fantasy option?
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers is also a good fantasy option in Week 12.
Although the Ravens have multiple receivers, Flowers gets plenty of targets. Flowers has struggled to get yards in the last two games, but he should be a big part in the upcoming game.
Before the last two games, Flowers had 127 and 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
If Flowers gets targets, he will be a good fantasy option as he can explode at any time for a big long pass and is a good touchdown threat.
Ladd McConkey or Zay Flowers: Who Should I Start?
Sportskeeda's fantasy start/sit optimizer suggests that fantasy managers should start Flowers over Hopkins in Week 12.
The fantasy tool projects Flowers to finish with 15.7 fantasy points in a full PPR league while McConkey will finish with 14.9 fantasy points.
The tool has Flowers recording 71 receiving yards while also adding five rushing yards but isn't projected to get into the endzone.
McConkey, meanwhile, is projected to finish with 88 receiving yards on just three catches. So the extra catches and rushing yards for Flowers are the difference.
Regardless, both Flowers and McConkey are good fantasy options in Week 12. But, the tool suggests managers should start Flowers over McConkey.
