The Baltimore Ravens's road game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night at SoFi Stadium will conclude Week 12 of the 2024 NFL season.
While the on-field clash between brothers Jim and John Harbaugh will be a talking point, the Ravens vs. Chargers game is interesting as it pits two AFC teams with seven wins this season against each other.
Furthermore, the Baltimore Ravens (7-4 AFC North) are only one spot behind the LA Chargers (7-3 AFC West) as the sixth seed in the AFC playoff picture going into the Week 12 game.
If the Bolts (fifth seed in the AFC playoff picture) win today and extend their winning streak to five games, their chances of qualifying for the playoffs automatically rise.
Let's see if any key players will be missing due to injuries for the primetime game.
Chargers injury report for Week 12
Game designations for the Los Angeles Chargers's Week 12 home game against the Baltimore Ravens were made public on Saturday. Linebacker Denzel Perryman (groin) and tight end Hayden Hurst (hip) are the two players the team has ruled out for the Week 12 game.
Safety AJ Finley (ankle), cornerback Deane Leonard (hamstring), outside linebacker Khalil Mack (groin), outside linebacker Bud Dupree (foot), cornerback Cam Hart (concussion/ankle), and wide receiver Ladd McConkey (shoulder) are the players who have also been designated questionable by the Bolts for the game.
Denzel Perryman injury update
Linebacker Denzel Perryman sustained a groin injury during the Los Angeles Chargers' Week 11 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He concluded that game with five tackles. However, the 31-year-old LB did not practice during the week because of the injury.
On Saturday, the Bolts ruled out Perryman on their final injury report.
Khalil Mack injury update
Khalil Mack missed the 34-27 victory over the Bengals in Week 11 due to a groin injury. On Thursday, he started practicing again, albeit in a limited capacity, which bodes well for his availability in Week 12.
However, Mack could not log any full participation in practice — he only had two more limited participations on Friday and Saturday. His availability is still uncertain as the team classified him as questionable on the final injury report.
Hayden Hurst injury update
Hayden Hurst popped up on the Los Angeles Chargers's injury report on Friday due to a hip injury. He was not listed on the injury report on Thursday, so it was a surprise when he was listed the day after.
Hurst was a nonparticipant in the team session on Saturday and was subsequently ruled out of Monday night's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
In Hayden Hurst's absence, Will Dissly will play as the team's tight end, while Tucker Fisk may get more chances.
