Los Angeles Chargers injury report Week 13: Latest on J.K. Dobbins, Alohi Gilman, Cam Hart and more

The Los Angeles Chargers are thriving in Jim Harbaugh's inaugural season as head coach. Heading into Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons, they hold a 7-4 record and are on track for the playoffs.

The Chargers are coming off a 23-30 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and currently sit second on the AFC West points table, behind the Kansas City Chiefs (11-1).

Ahead of their Week 13 game, let's look at the players set to miss out due to injury.

Los Angeles Chargers injury report

J.K. Dobbins' injury update

Per CBS Sports, J.K. Dobbins suffered a knee sprain against the Baltimore Ravens. The veteran running back is now set to miss the Atlanta Falcons game and potentially a couple of weeks to recover properly from the injury.

Dobbins had an impressive first season in Los Angeles, as he was utilized as the team's RB1. Unfortunately, his well-documented injury issues struck in a game against his former side in Week 12.

Expect Gus Edwards to take over Dobbins's role on the Chargers' offense for the foreseeable future.

Alohi Gilman's injury update

Alohi Gilman will not feature against the Atlanta Falcons, per CBS Sports. The cornerback is dealing with a hamstring injury ahead of the Week 13 game.

Gilman couldn't practice throughout the week due to the hamstring issue. He is all but sure to miss his first game since the second week of the 2024 season. The skilled cornerback's injury is the latest setback to that unit for the Los Angeles Chargers. Eli Apple, Cam Hart and Asante Samuel are also dealing with injuries.

Cam Hart's injury update

Per CBS Sports, Cam Hart will miss Sunday's game against the Falcons. The cornerback is dealing with an ankle issue. He suffered his latest injury setback in a training session during Week 12.

Hart was unable to participate in a single training session this week. He'll now be forced to watch his teammates from the sidelines for another matchday.

Denzel Perryman's injury update

Denzel Perryman will not play any part in Sunday's upcoming game against the Atlanta Falcons. The linebacker is dealing with a groin issue, per CBS Sports.

Perryman suffered a groin injury in his side's Week 11 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He hasn't participated in practice since and will likely see one of Troy Dye or Nick Niemann occupy his role in the Los Angeles Chargers's defense for the time being.
