"2 greatest athletes of our generation": NFL fans react as Tom Brady joins LeBron James as team USA celebrates 50 years

Tom Brady and LeBron James linked up at an Olympic party in Paris on Monday (August 5), and the fans couldn’t hide their excitement. This party was in celebration of USA Basketball completed 50 years of its founding.

A video of the encounter was shared on X by NBC Sports. In the video, Brady can be seen going out of his way to greet James’s wife Savannah and briefly chatting with LeBron.

“LeBron James. Tom Brady. Two GOATs. One big party in France at the Paris Olympics celebrating USA basketball,” NBC Sports captioned the post on X.

This video sent shockwaves through fans of both sports, with many calling it the ‘GOAT’ video. As the video features two of the sporting icons of the generation, fans filled the comments section with goat emojis.

“Two Goats in one video”, wrote another fan,” one fan said.
“2 greatest athletes of our generation. GOATS”
“The most goated video of all-time,” one fan said.
“11 combined Championships in 1 video. Greatness,” another fan said.

However, some were not ready to bestow the title of ‘GOAT’ on LeBron James.

“6 NBA finals losses hahh that’s goat status now,” one fan said.
“I only see one GOAT and that’s Brady,” another fan said.

Tom Brady is having fun on his Paris Olympics trip

Tom Brady arrived in Paris for the 2024 Paris Olympics on Sunday. The first event he attended was the tennis men's singles gold medal match between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz. Brady shared an image of the event on his Instagram story with the caption:

The Serb secured a 7-6(3), 7-6(2) victory over his Spanish opponent in the final to win his first Olympic gold medal.

After that, Brady showed up to support superstar American gymnast Simone Biles as she clinched another medal on Monday, bringing her total to 11 Olympic medals. She won the silver medal in the women's floor event, just 0.033 points short of Brazil's Rebeca Andrade, who won gold.
