The 2024 NFL Draft week has officially begun!

After a long off-season of over two months since the conclusion of Super Bowl LVIII, the 2024 season is getting closer and closer. This Thursday night in the city of Detroit, Michigan, the 2024 NFL Draft will begin with round one taking place.

With the draft just three days away, the trade and draft rumors are starting to ramp up. This morning, two teams, the Las Vegas Raiders and the Philadelphia Eagles, were linked to aggressively pursuing trade-up scenarios in the 2024 NFL Draft.

According to Raiders reporter Vincent Bonsignore, general manager Tom Telesco has multiple plans in place to either trade up or down in the draft, depending on circumstances

"@RaidersGM Tom Telesco said they have a plan in place to be aggressive and move up in the draft (obviously pending on certain circumstances unfolding) and trading down, as well."

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles are looking to just trade up in the draft. Per NBC reporter John Clark, it's believed that general manager Howie Roseman is aiming to trade up in the draft to acquire a top cornerback.

"Eagles GM Howie Roseman has been calling other teams about moving up in first round of the NFL draft. And teams believe he is interested in getting a cornerback. This is according to @AdamSchefter. Howie does this every year and has deals in place in case a player he wants is there and he wants to trade up in the draft. He traded up in recent years to get Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Devonta Smith."

Trades, especially in the NFL Draft, are very unpredictable. Teams could trade back if they aren't comfortable selecting a player with their current pick. Other teams that target quarterbacks are the teams that usually look to trade up.

Several teams with lower picks, such as the Cardinals at No. 4 and the Atlanta Falcons at No. 8, are open to trade offers. Teams like the Minnesota Vikings, Las Vegas Raiders, and Denver Broncos are believed to be looking to move up in the draft, with the intention of selecting a quarterback.
