“This is it for Aaron Rodgers”- 3x Super Bowl winner predicts the start of Jordan Love era at Packers in 2023

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers kept their playoff hopes alive following their inspiring comeback win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 16. After a poor start to the season, there were concerns about Rodgers' future, but the quarterback has bounced back well.

Backup quarterback Jordan Love has shown signs of promise, but he hasn't had enough opportunities to showcase his talent. It seems like the Packers are still relying on Rodgers, but three-time Super Bowl-winning guard Mark Schlereth believes that Rodgers won't play in Green Bay next season.

Here's what Mark Schlereth said about Rodgers' future with the Green Bay Packers:

"This is it for Rogers, I think they've already made the decision that Jordan love can play and he's gonna get an opportunity next year."

Schlereth continued:

"I just felt like they feel really good about where Jordan Love is that he has made a huge leap as far as the way he practices the way he operates his knowledge of the game. And I just feel like they've already made that decision that they're going to find a way out of that contract."

He added:

"I think they've already got some clauses in that thing and that Aaron Rodgers will be playing somewhere else next year."

Nobody knows whether or not what Schlereth said is true or not, as it is hard to imagine a player like Aaron Rodgers getting traded next season. He can still play at a high level if the right players are put around him and retiring won't be the right option for him.

As for Jordan Love, there is a significant chance that the Packers will offer him that fifth-year option. He really might be the guy to carry the torch after Rodgers.

Aaron Rodgers can lead the Packers to the playoffs

The playoffs looked a far reach for the Packers a few weeks ago, but now they have a serious shot at making it to the postseason. If they are able to win their two remaining games, and results elsewhere go in their favor, they can lock in that seventh seed in the AFC.

They are up against the Minnesota Vikings at home in Week 17, and we may see a vintage Rodgers performance to boost their playoff hopes. Aaron Rodgers still has a lot to prove, and if he can lead this Packers team to the playoffs considering the circumstances, it would be a monumental achievement.
