Aaron Rodgers reveals the interaction he had with Mike Vrabel in viral clip from TNF game: "He kinda blew me off"

Aaron Rodgers had an interesting interaction with Titans' head coach

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has lifted the lid on a little interaction between himself and Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel from Thursday Night Football. The Titans would hand the Packers their seventh loss of the season, winning 27-17.

A Titans player was down on the field when Vrabel made his way onto the field to check on his teammates' welfare. That led to a small exchange between the Titans coach and Rodgers.

Whatever Rodgers said to Vrabel, the Titans coach didn't bite. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show in his weekly spot, the Packers star divulged a little about what happened during the interaction.

“He came out very concerned for his player and I just wanted to hear what the conversation was. I had a couple comments over there for Mike. He didn’t really say anything back.”

Aaron Rodgers added that his attempt to get a response from Vrabel came to nought:

“Vrabel kind of blew me off but I would've done the same thing after what I said to him. I was trying to get a reaction out of him, but he stayed above it. I said something about him personally and he didn’t want to respond.”

The interaction between the pair was certainly interesting, with Rodgers seen smiling and laughing at the coach's response. The Packers star went on to say that he and Vrabel are good friends and talk a lot during the season.

Can Aaron Rodgers salvage the Packers' season?

Sitting with a 4-7 record, one would have to say that the Packers' season is just about done. If not, then a loss to the 9-1 Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football will be the final nail in their playoff coffin.

It has been a season of poor football from Green Bay. With receiver Davante Adams and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett both moving on, the Packers have looked a shell of the team that went three straight seasons with a 13-3 record.

The playoffs certainly look out of the question at the time of writing as several other NFC teams have far superior records. Green Bay's season has been so poor that some have called for Jordan Love to start the remaining games of the season.

Now, given that there are still six games to go for the Packers, it might be a little premature. But at this stage, season 2022 looks to be a wasted one for the Packers and Aaron Rodgers.
