Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers find themselves in an unfamiliar position through the first six games of the 2022 regular season. Green Bay sits at 3-3 and in second place in the NFC North, as the Minnesota Vikings boast a 5-1 record in first place.

Former Super Bowl-winning linebacker Rob Ninkovich spoke about Aaron Rodgers and the Packers' chances of making the playoffs. Ninkovich doesn't seem too confident in the team and thinks they are done.

Ninkovich said:

"I picked the Jets to beat them in Lambeau. I thought I was crazy. They are in trouble. The Packers are in trouble."
"At this point right now, if they do not correct a lot of these issues, they're done. The Packers are done."

Ninkovich added that Rodgers is getting hit too much this year and it doesn't seem like there's much chemistry right now on the team.

He said:

"But right now, you just go down the list of issues - Aaron Rodgers being hit too much. He's on the turf way too many times. Remember last year with that meme with the chinstrap on his chest? Yeah, he was. He's been hit more this year, so it's not good."

The Green Bay Packers offense and Aaron Rodgers have struggled this season

Part of Green Bay's lack of success starts upfront with their offense. The Packers have the 17th-ranked pass attack and rank 22nd in points per game this season through six weeks.

They average 17.8 points per game while giving up 20.5 points per game.

Running back Aaron Jones has only two touchdowns thus far, while AJ Dillon has only one touchdown.

No wide receiver on the team has over 300 receiving yards or four touchdowns this season. Davante Adams, who the team traded away in the offseason, has over 400 yards and five touchdowns in one less game this season.

While there are many reasons why the Packers are struggling, they find themselves in uncharted territory and could miss the playoffs if they continue to struggle.
