Aaron Rodgers remains one of the NFL's biggest question marks heading into the season. While many players have agreed to contracts with new teams, Rodgers hasn't decided on his future.

First Things First co-host Nick Wright believes we can rule out one avenue Rodgers could go down: retirement.

The four-time NFL MVP is under contract with the Packers and is set to make $59 million in 2023. This is one of the main reasons why retirement is unlikely. Wright said that if Rodgers does retire, he will do something shocking live on air.

“If Aaron Rodgers retires and I am proved wrong, I will do Ayahuasca live on the air, we’ll check with our legal department. We know he’s not retiring, but everyone else is making moves. Free agency has essentially opened and we’ve seen a lot of things go on.

Wright doesn't know if he can legally do Ayahuasca live on television. but if Rodgers does retire, many NFL fans will be tuning into 'First Things First' to see what Wright will do.

The Packers quarterback has already reportedly held meetings with the New York Jets to explore a potential deal with the AFC East team. Staying with the Packers always remains a possibility for Rodgers.

While it seems like a return to Green Bay is unlikely, Packers president Mark Murphy essentially said that Rodgers will only be back if another move falls through. New York seems to be the most obvious destination.

The first day of the NFL's legal tampering period is coming to an end and several major transactions have already been completed. We are still waiting for the biggest shoe to drop.

It remains to be seen where Rodgers will end up. There were reports that Aaron Rodgers to the Jets was a deal done, but nothing came to fruition. NFL fans hope that a decision will be made sooner rather than later.
