Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers suffered another disappointing loss as they lost to the New York Jets in Week 6, continuing their patchy run.

This was the first successive defeat for the Packers under head coach Matt LaFleur since he took over in 2019.

The Packers once again failed to perform on the offensive end as they scored just 10 points against the Jets, while their defense hasn't been up to scratch either.

Zach Wilson and the Jets dropped 27 points on the highly touted Packers' defense as they improved to 4-2 after the win over Green Bay.

NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe wasn't impressed with Aaron Rodgers' performance once again, slamming the reigning NFL MVP on Twitter.

Here's what Sharpe said about Rodgers following the loss to the Jets:

"When is the next flt to Peru? Rodgers needs to be on it and go drink some more of that hallucinate medicine. Maybe someone could go grab it for him. He’s been really bad so far this season"

Following their loss to the New York Jets, the Packers are now 3-3.

The loss of Davante Adams appears to have been a contributing factor to their issues, considering their offense hasn't been able to jel this season.

It will be interesting to see how Rodgers responds going forward with this Packers offense.

Aaron Rodgers, who has been the NFL's MVP for the last two seasons, has looked a shell of himself this season.

So far, the star quarterback has thrown for 1,403 yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions in six games, sporting a passer rating of 94.2.

Rodgers' hunt for three-peating the MVP award is likely to come to a close following the loss to the Jets

The chances of the Green Bay Packers winning the NFC North once again have also taken a massive hit as a result.

The Minnesota Vikings are 5-1 to start the season, and are looking like the run-away favorites to win the NFC North.

Rodgers and the Packers will face the Washington Commanders next week, and anything less than a win would spell trouble for Rodgers' ambitions, especially considering the retirement rumors swirling this year.
