If Tyreek Hills is one of the fastest NFL stars, Noah Lyles has earned himself the title of the fastest man on the planet. However, Hill, currently with the Miami Dolphins, believes that he can beat the Olympic 100-meter champion in a race.
The two have sparked a conversation online, ultimately involving fans to speak up on the situation.
In a recent interview, Noah Lyles admitted not remembering who exactly Tyreek Hill was.

"Ummm, what's that guy, what's the cheetah guy from football? Well, I can't remember his name. Mark! What's the football player who thinks he's fast name? Tyreek Hill," Lyles said.
Fans, however, weren't happy after Lyles' comment.
"Arrogant af," one fan wrote.
"Arrogant for not knowing a football player," one user said in response, essentially defending the sprinter.
"Oh so he’s annoying annoying," a user mentioned.
A few wondered if this was Lyles' way to stay relevant after the Paris Olympics had wrapped up.
"Olympics are over, how else is he gonna stay relevant if he doesn’t keep doin shi like this😭 ," one fan wrote.
Some were convinced he only pretended to not know Tyreek Hill's name.
"Bro pretended like he didn’t know his name is hilarious," another user added.
"Called him Cheetah guy he def knows who Tyreek Hill is 😂🤣," one person wrote.
"Bro def trolling 😂😂😂😂," another fan guessed.
"Bro is so obviously pretending like he doesn’t know Tyreek 😭. Clown," one fan said rather harshly.
Some fans even wondered if the whole response was necessary, still upset over Lyles' statement.
What did Tyreek Hill say about Noah Lyles?
As mentioned, Lyles' answer was a direct response to Tyreek Hill's claim about the Olympic medalist.
While on Kay Adams' 'Up & Adams' show, the Dolphins WR was asked about the Olympic champion. Specifically, he was asked to comment on Lyles' observation that winners of American events like the World Series and Super Bowls shouldn't be called 'World Champions'.
Wondering why Noah Lyles would make such a comment, Hill said:
"Noah Lyles can't say nothing after what's just happened to him, then he wants to come out and pretend he's sick ... just speak on what you know about, and that's track. I would beat Noah Lyles. I wouldn't beat him by a lot, but I'd beat Noah Lyles."
Tyreek Hill is yet to respond to Lyles' comment about forgetting his name.
