Back in 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic affected everyone equally, including the NFL. Of course, as play resumed, players started resuming work with restrictions. However, Baltimore Ravens LB Roquan Smith had his own idea of quarantine.
Smith ended up breaking a few social-distancing rules to party on a boat with countless porn stars. People identified Abella Danger at the party, which featured Smith enjoying some downtime on his own.
Unfortunately, most people were livid with Smith's carelessness. Many were upset about the timing, wondering why he had to choose to do so during the quarantine.
The video itself was slightly explicit, with a woman pouring alcohol (probably champagne) into Smith's mouth. A few people sided with Smith, wanting to party as freely as Smith. However, it ended up angering a few people.
After all, a lot of people were suffering from COVID-19 while the Ravens star was partying with people.
"Y’all are a sensitive bunch today. My issue with Roquan Smith is him being out and about partying during a pandemic where people are dying. He’s not helping. Plain and simple," one user wrote.
A few more agreed, making it clear that it was Roquan Smith's attitude towards partying during the pandemic that affected them, and not the partying itself.
Roquan Smith was also accused of sexual assault by a girl on TikTok
Apart from his partying video, the former Chicago Bears star was accused by TikTok users of sexual assault. They even specified more, narrowing it down to his time in Georgia. As per the user, Smith had forced himself on her.
Later, the user deleted her TikTok account, and Roquan also deleted his Twitter account. That being said, reports add that the girl would have been 15 years old during the assault, and Roquan would have been 22.
However, there was no further update on the issue.
A few people wondered why the TikTok user kept quiet for five whole years before accusing Smith. Others added considered the possibility of it being fake, especially as there was no follow up and the account was deleted.
Furthermore, no official statement was issued.
