Travis Kelce has both fans and haters and they have made some stinging tweets

Travis Kelce has impressed everyone as the Kansas City Chiefs' tight end. The 33-year-old has been around since the 2013 season, continuing to build his game with the team. Of course, constant exposure to the NFL also warrants some trolling.

As a popular athlete, Travis could have been on the receiving end of multiple jokes. Sometimes, fans (or haters) can get meaner than expected. A few particularly funny and bitter tweets made it to Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Some segments are reserved for NFL players, including everyone from Tom Brady to Patrick Mahomes. Kelce also read a few 'mean' tweets while on the show.

"This dude Travis Kelce looks like the Notre Dame leprechaun," one tweet read.

Kelce was mostly silent with his reaction, deciding to react subtly and laugh it off.

Another tweet read:

"good god, travis kelce is such a f***ing tool. and his tv show sucks a**"

The show mentioned by the user could be 'Catching Kelce'. The show is about Kelce's off-field life, and finding a woman suitable for him to date. The dating TV show for the tight end featured 50 women from 50 states, who tried to win the heart of the young Chiefs star.

Throughout the course of the show, Kelce ended up taking help from his family and friends. Though a few fans might have enjoyed the show, it had received mixed reviews and a 5.3/10 rating on IMDB.

Travis Kelce and his brother will make history at the Super Bowl LVII

After concluding the NFL Conference Championships, Travis and his brother Jason Kelce will both be playing in the Super Bowl. However, Travis will play for the Chiefs, and Jason for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Interestingly, no pair of brothers have ever faced each other in the Super Bowl yet. Their mother Donna, who might have to support both teams, has already won. Irrespective of who wins, one Super Bowl ring has been confirmed for the family.

Travis has been a star for the Chiefs this season, racking up 1,515 receiving yards with 15 touchdowns on 131 receptions. The team won the AFC Championship game 23-20, coming out on top in their rivalry against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Jason, who plays center, helped the Eagles finish their season by leading the NFC standings with a 14-3 record. They beat the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL Championship game to secure the Super Bowl chance.
