Former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores may have stymied Tom Brady and Sean Payton's plans to unite at the Miami Dolphins this season. The plan didn't go through because of Flores' lawsuit, but Brady and Payton could still be on the same team after this season.

Brady is a free agent following the conclusion of the ongoing season and Sean Payton might make his return to the NFL next season. Former NFL general manager Mike Tannenbaum recently spoke about Tom Brady and Sean Payton potentially linking up on a new team next season. Here's what he said on Get Up:

"Let's remember this, Greeny: Sean Payton and Tom Brady have the same agent, They could be a package deal. There are a number of teams out there."

Tannenbaum added:

"Carolina, New Orleans, maybe Las Vegas, Arizona - that could be looking for possibly a head coach and a quarterback. I think this is really intriguing."

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren't the same team they were when they won the Super Bowl, and that has been visible this season. Moreover, Tom Brady recently divorced Gisele Bundchen, and there is a strong indication that he will continue playing football after this season.

It wouldn't be a surprise if Brady continues to play football and leaves the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following this campaign. With many good teams underperforming this season, the duo of Brady and Payton could make them Super Bowl contenders.

This is still a far-fetched idea, but you never know what Brady might get up to. He is still hungry to win more Super Bowls and would potentially like to play in a better situation under Sean Payton.

Which will be the best destination for Tom Brady and Sean Payton next season?

If Tom Brady and Sean Payton do decide to team up next season, their best destination could be the Las Vegas Raiders. New head coach Josh McDaniels is under immense pressure and could be fired if we don't see improvements.

Quarterback Derek Carr is under pressure as well. If Brady and Payton do offer themselves to the Raiders, it will be hard for the organization to turn them down. Brady combined with Davante Adams, Josh Jacobs, and Darren Waller would be absolutely unstoppable.

However, this is all a hypothetical situation, as we don't know whether or not Brady will leave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after this season. If he manages to steer Tampa Bay to the playoffs, anything could happen. The Buccaneers are 5-5 and top of the NFC South, so this is realistic. If Brady gets to the playoffs, who knows how it might play out.

This could be a crazy season where he ends up winning another Super Bowl, after which he may decide to call it a day. At this point, it's just too early to say.
