Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku is unlikely to suit up for Sunday's game against the New York Giants.
In his first game this season, Njoku caught four passes for 44 yards against the Dallas Cowboys. He didn't play in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to an injury.
He's set to be sidelined once again when the Browns host the New York Giants on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.

In Cleveland's season opener against Dallas, Njoku injured his ankle while making a 29-yard reception. Following the injury, head coach Kevin Stefanski said that the tight end would be evaluated on a week-to-week basis.
Early this week, NFL Network reporter Andrew Siciliano provided an update on Njoku. He said that Stefanksi said he wouldn't rule out Njoku playing this week.
However, Njoku did not practice on Wednesday and Stefanski told reporters that the tight end is unlikely to return this week.
Njoku is coming off his most productive season in the NFL. The eight-year veteran set career-highs in receptions (81), receiving yards (882), and receiving touchdowns (6) last season.
He was named a Pro Bowler for the first time in his career and finished last season as the fifth-best tight end in fantasy points.
The Browns made a playoff run with Deshaun Watson sidelined for the latter half of last season, and hope to make it back to the postseason while playing in one of the most competitive divisions in football.
The Cleveland Browns picked up a huge win against the Jacksonville Jaguars this past weekend
Though it is only Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season, the Cleveland Browns are in a decent spot. After defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 18-13 on the road this past Sunday, the Browns are 1-1 and are in second place in the AFC North.
A win was huge for the Browns because they could have been tied for last place with the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals who are both 0-2. They trail the Pittsburgh Steelers who are unbeaten at 2-0.
The AFC North is usually competitive. All four teams last season finished with winning records with just the Bengals missing the playoffs.
