It seems evident that Aaron Rodgers is going to be a New York Jet. Multiple rumors have circled around this week stating that rumors between the two parties have been heating up.

Rodgers was granted permission to speak with the Jets today. Moments ago, it was announced that the Jets are scheduled to fly out today to meet in person with Rodgers.

Amid the trade talk heating up, New York Jets rookie of the year Sauce Gardner Tweeted at Rodgers, teasing him while hoping he joins the Jets.

Gardner Tweeted:

"Aye @AaronRodgers12 I promise if you become a Jet, I won’t pick you off in practice & I’ll burn the cheesehead."

After the Jets defeated the Packers this season on the road at Lambeau Field, Gardner ran around the stadium with a famous Packers cheesehead on his head.

Even the Jets' rookie starting running back from last season, Breece Hall, Tweeted at Rodgers.

Hall Tweeted:

"Dont' mind me...Just Manifesting @AaronRodgers12."

Ironically, once Rodgers joins the Jets, he'll be getting paid by the same company that he claimed viewed him as a villain. Jets owner Woody Johnson is a member of the founding family of Johnson and Johnson.

Rodgers said that the three big COVID-19 companies, (Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson) painted him as a villain due to his opinion on the COVID-19 vaccine.

Rodgers said:

“If you take the right sound bite from the right thing and it’s a station that may or may not have in the past been brought to you by Pfizer, they gotta make sure their villain gets cast in the correct light."
"And whether or not they’re sponsored by Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson, whatever it might be, when you go up against some of those powers that be, put yourself in the crosshairs, they’re gonna paint you a certain way. And that’s what the media did to me a couple of years ago. That’s fine. That’s their prerogative. That’s what they wanted to do.”

The Jets will have a new quarterback in 2023, likely Aaron Rodgers

The New York Jets will have a new quarterback in 2023 and it's almost certain that it will be Aaron Rodgers.

The team decided to move on from Zach Wilson after two lousy years with him as the team's starter.

While it's a lock for the Jets to secure Aaron Rodgers, it isn't official yet. If they don't land Rodgers, they will still pursue a quarterback whether it be through the draft, free agency, or trade.
