Eagles' A.J. Brown breaks silence with video of bike accident going viral - “Stay safe everyone”

A.J. Brown has broken his silence after a video captured him in an apparent accident while riding a bike.

He was on Instagram Live during the event when a car jumped a red light and nearly hit him. His video at the time showed his mobile phone dropping off his hand, but whether he was hurt or not was not immediately clear.

Now, Brown has come out and confirmed that he's indeed safe, saying that he was unhurt and got off the way. While he did not fall off the bike, he did drop his phone. He also wished everyone to stay safe as well, tweeting:

"I’m fine everyone lol. Someone ran the stop sign. ... I didn’t fall off my bike. I just dropped my phone and got out of the way . Stay safe everyone"

A.J. Brown looks to get back on the field and go one better than last year

A.J. Brown narrowly escaped a serious accident. Had he been injured in the collision, it would have been a severe hit to the Philadelphia Eagles.

He joined the team last season from the Tennessee Titans and was instrumental in them reaching the Super Bowl. This year, they have strengthened through the draft and will look to get their hands on the Lombardi trophy.

A.J. Brown will be crucial. Last season, he made the Pro Bowl and the Second Team All Pro, in what his best season in the NFL to date. He had 1,496 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns, both best marks of his career.

He also added a touchdown in the postseason. His previous best was with the Tennessee TItans in 2020, when he had 1,075 receiving yards. He beat that mark by more than 400 yards last season.

A.J. Brown was also the most productive wide receiver for the Eagles last season. His output was a full 300 yards more than DeVonta Smith, even though the latter had seven more receptions. Brown's average of 17 yards per reception was also the best in the team. Only Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill and Davante Adams outscored him across the league last season.

He played all their games enroute to the final, so not having him would have been a blow to the Philadelphia. Thankfully, as he himself confirmed, he's safe, and Eagles fans will hope that he continues to be.
