On Wednesday, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Rondale Moore went down in practice with a lower leg injury. Today, it was revealed that Moore suffered a season-ending knee injury, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Moore was acquired by the Falcons this off-season in exchange for sending quarterback Desmond Ridder to the Arizona Cardinals. It looks like Moore's debut as a Falcon will have to wait until the 2025 season.

The Atlanta Falcons wide receiver room took a big hit after losing Rondale Moore for the season. Moore is already off of the Falcons' depth chart following the injury.

Moore had the chance to become heavily featured in Atlanta's offense as either their number two or number three wide receiver. Third-year wide receiver Drake London is the clear No. 1 wide receiver in Atlanta's offense, being their leading wide receiver in yards in the last two seasons.

In the off-season, the Falcons signed free agent Darnell Mooney to a three-year $39 million contract. With that kind of money, Atlanta expects him to step up as their number two wideout this season. Mooney showed flashes as a quality wide receiver in his second season in the NFL, recording 1,055 receiving yards and 81 catches.

The Falcons also have speedster Ray-Ray McCloud as receiver number three, who is also the team's punt returner. Other wide receivers on the Falcons' roster include KhaDarel Hodge, Chris Blair, Austin Mack, James Washington, Casey Washington, Dylan Drummond, Josh Ali and Jesse Matthews.
