Tiki Barber ripped into the Jets following their 32-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night.
Barber discussed the Jets' offense and their lack of wide receiver talent. While they may have Garrett Wilson, Mike Williams, Allen Lazard, etc., he said that Wilson is their entire wide receiver room.
Barber argued that although New York has players people may know about, it doesn't necessrily equate to talent or success. He said:
"Their wide receiver room is Garrett Wilson, that's it. I'm not saying, and I'm saying it's Garrett Wilson. if you're talking about how much talent this team has, and that's all Jets fans wanted to talk about, you better be a star.

"Not saying like a superstar, but you better be a star. Mike Williams is not going to be super. Gipson is not going to be a superstar this year."
He continued:
"Allen Lazard is not going to be a superstar this year, it is Garrett Wilson. ... Wanted to say this roster looks great, maybe because you know every name, it sounds great, but it's not that.
"It's they haven't you got to prove it. You got to do it consistently to be called a great top of the world roster."
In the Jets' season opening loss to the 49ers, only Wilson and Lazard had receptions out of the receiving group. Lazard had six catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns, including a garbage time touchown in the final minute of the game, while Wilson had six catches for 60 yards.
It isn't time for the New York Jets to panic just yet
Many people were anticipating Aaron Rodgers' return with the New York Jets. It ended up in a 32-19 loss, with Rodgers leaving the game early with the team down 32-13 late in the fourth quarter.
Many had pegged New York to be a playoff team and potentially an AFC contender. After their first game, they didn't look like either, though.
Yes, it was Rodgers' first full game after coming back from his Achilles tear last season. Moreover, there were many new faces on offense, including wide receiver Mike Williams as well as four new offensive linemen.
It isn't time to panic for NY fans, but the team must improve quickly if they want a shot at the Lomabrdi trophy.
