"GP is a menace" - Steelers fans lose their minds over George Pickens' insane TD catch vs. Commanders

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens is one of the most entertaining players in the league. From making fantastic, contested catches, to tossing around defensive backs on blocks, to saying something controversial to the media, Pickens always draws eyes.

Today against the Washington Commanders, he made an absurd 16-yard touchdown catch where he adjusted, extended back, and controlled the ball for an impressive touchdown.

Fans lost their minds after seeing Pickens' impressive catch. Fans pointed out how impressive his catch was with some pointing out his ability to stay controlled in the air.

This is just the latest example of the type of spectacular catches Pickens often makes.

"George Pickens is insane like dude is actually wild I don’t think I’ve ever seen a wr with the body control he has when the ball is in the air and I’m not just saying this because he’s on the Steelers," a fan said.

Other fans pointed out how Pickens has been finding success with Russell Wilson at quarterback. Some think Justin Fields doesn't have a chance to start again while others think Wilson is the best quarterback the Steelers have had since Ben Roethlisberger.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide recevier George Pickens was drafted in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

As a rookie, he played all 17 games for the Steelers, recording 52 receptions for 801 yards and four touchdowns. Next season, he upped his numbers, having 63 catches for 1,140 yards and five touchdowns.

Before today's game against the Commanders, Pickens had 35 catches for 548 yards and a touchdown.

As of 10:36 into the second quarter of today's game against the Commanders, Pickens has two catches for 21 yards and a touchdown.
