Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals were off to a rough start during their Week 7 Thursday Night Football clash against the New Orleans Saints.

Despite throwing a pick in the endzone, Saints quarterback Andy Dalton engineered two touchdown drives to help his team race to a 14-6 lead. The frustrated Cardinals offense finally found its groove late in the second quarter and was in the RedZone when Kliff Kingsbury called a timeout after Murray called an audible to avoid a delay of game penalty.

While walking to the sidelines, Murray was spotted yelling, "Calm the f**k down" in the general direction where his coach was standing.

NFL fans were less than impressed with the quarterback's outburst and ripped into him on social media:

Fans did not pass up the opportunity to roast Murray for his Call of Duty obsession:

Kliff Kingsbury wasn't spared from the memes either:

The heated moment between Kyler Murray and the coaches seemingly woke up the Cardinals.

Keaontay Ingram got into the endzone for a touchdown and the Cardinals then converted the two-point try to level the score at 14-14.

In the subsequent drive, Marco Wilson picked off a bobbled pass and returned it for a touchdown to give the Cardinals the lead.

A minute later, Isaiah Simmons picked off Dalton and ran into the endzone for another pick-6 to push the Cardinals' lead to 14 at the half.

The Saints opened the second half with a Will Lutz field goal and the Cardinals responded with another touchdown to take an 18-point lead in the game.

But the Saints weren't about to go down without a fight. Andy Dalton found Juwan Johnson, who wrestled his way into the endzone to cut his team's deficit to 11 with over 11 minutes left in the game.

But Eno Benjamin's gritty touchdown restored the Cardinals' 18-point advantage and effectively ended the game.

The Saints finished the game with a 10-0 run, but it was too little, too late as the Cardinals won 42-34.
