"He was going to s*** himself": Jared Verse panicked after Sean McVay's Aaron Donald prank

Los Angeles Rams defensive star Jared Verse and Rams legend Aaron Donald have been in the midst of a friendly training competition over the past few weeks. As a result, in a media appearance on Tuesday, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay highlighted how he even inserted himself into the drama and had some fun with Verse about the situation.

McVay detailed how he faked that Donald was in the building to get a reaction out of Verse. Although Donald was in fact not in the building and McVay was simply joking, the Rams head coach outlined how Verse was clearly nervous with the announced news.

NFL analyst Ari Meirov released the clip on the social media platform X on June 10.

"I got Jared [Verse] pretty good last week, where I faked like Aaron [Donald] was here. I said 'how many guys have seen what's going on between Jared and Aaron, a lot of guys raised their hands. And I said, everybody welcome Aaron Donald. You know, and Verse, he sits like in the front left, he looked like he was going to s*** himself'." McVay revealed.

What is the latest on the Jared Verse, Aaron Donald situation?

The situation between Verse and Donald appears to now be in the past after Verse revealed on social media that Donald had put him through a very difficult training session last week.

In a post to X, Verse made clear that Donald's workout session was extremely difficult for him to complete and that he respected Donald for taking time out of his schedule to train with him.

"I tried to test a legend.. in @AaronDonald97 And he responded with a workout from hell. Learned my lesson. Respect OG 💯😮‍💨." Verse said on X on June 6.

Verse had a great rookie season for the Rams and was major reason behind their success in getting to the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs last year. Now entering his second season in the league and the Rams having a stronger roster on paper this year, expectations will be heightened for both Verse and the Los Angeles franchise heading into the 2025 season.
